Thank You

To the National Association of Letter Carriers.  Their efforts on the "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive provided the Community Caring Center with 3,053 pounds of canned food.  What a gift from the residents who set out their bags of food and the carriers who picked it up and delivered it to the Center.  It took us several days to get all of that food on the shelves.  What a great problem to have!

To Ryan Potts, a fine young man in the Eagle Scouts brought 603 pounds of canned good to the Community Caring Center which were donated as admission to his musical concert.  Now, that's singing for your supper!

New Computers

Friday the 21st of May was an exciting day here at the Center.  Our new computers arrived.  We are now able to retire our old, tired and slowwwwww systems and set up a new, fast and much more productive stystem.  It is now up and running and it will improve our productivity and store our data more safely as well as give us greater availability to our files and data.  Many thanks to those involved in the volunteer time spent installing and programming our new system.

A Special Request

We have a capital improvement need.  We need to finish the rear parking lot and fence the property.  It is important that we secure our area and protect our investment.

Heavenly Treasures Gift Shop

Please visit our gift shop.  We have recently reorganized to make it easier to find things.  There are many new articles as well as "slightly used" and even a few antiques.  All of the proceeds go directly to purchasing food for the Center to distribute to those in need.  A "heavenly treasure" waits for you in our gift shop.  Now is the time to purchase that gift you have been looking for.  The merchandise will be turning over at a swift rate and what you saw there the last time will be GONE.  If you need a gift for ANY occasion, please come by the Center.  The Gift Shop is now open on Saturdays from 10:00am - 2:00pm.  Stop by and see us!
Hours of Operation:  9:00am - Noon Monday thru Friday and Saturdays from 10:00am - 2:00pm

How Can You Help?

Donate:  The Community Caring Center is dependent on donations to provide our services.  Donations of canned and nonperishable food and clean, lightly used clothing are always welcome as well as any household goods that are in good and usable condition.
Please ask your Bible Study group, Women's Club, Church, or school to collect new items on a regular basis and bring them into the Center.  Donations can be dropped of at the Center during hours of operation.  Arrangements for alternate donation times can be made by calling 817-270-2962 during those hours.
Financial contributions are always welcome, encouraged, and appreciated.  Checks should be made payable to the Community Caring Center (or CCC) and mailed or delivered to the Community Caring Center, 317 Commerce Street, Azle, TX 76020.  We are now able to accept online donations by credit card.  Please click here to donate online.

Because the Community Caring Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization incorporated in the state of Texas, all financial contributions made to the CCC are tax deductible

Become a Caring Partner:  This is a vision of community support that would allow the CCC and the communtiy to work together to take care of those in need.  If individuals, families, or groups (businesses, service clubs, Sunday School classes, churches) could invest a monetary donation in the CCC on a monthly basis, that would provide assistance with operating funds and allow the CCC to assist more people in need. The Center can set up your Caring Partner commitment as an automatic bank draft.   Click here for the form or you can pick up a form at the CCC during operating hours.

Volunteer:  Become an "Angel" volunteer!  The Center is run by volunteer power and "Angels" are always needed.  We are serving more and more people every month and the need for Angels has grown.  Please come by the Center and see how your talents fit our needs.
